Winter crops around the district that survived the big dry so far received a much-needed drink with 38 millimetres of rain falling into the official gauge at Federation Park on July 2, although much larger readings were taken elsewhere in the shire.
After a few drizzly days the weather has reverted to frosty mornings making way for brilliantly-sunny days, enjoyed by those like the ones on the photo gallery who venture far enough away from the heater.
More drizzle is expected mid-week before the skies clear again for another brilliant Tenterfield weekend, so get out and about and enjoy winter in the highlands.
