The bridge will be closed to all oversize vehicles during this time and oversize vehicles are advised to use an alternate route to the Mt Lindesay Road between Legume and Woodenbong. Signage advertising the closure to oversize vehicles will be in place later this week.
“This necessary work is preliminary to the structural work which will be undertaken to Koreelah Creek Bridge as part of the $24m upgrade to the Legume to Woodenbong section of the Mt Lindesay Road,” Mayor Peter Petty said.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause to road users.
