After some welcome rain to dampen the dust the night before, Fathers Day 2018 dawned bright and sunny on the first day of spring, September 1, and families turned out to celebrate the day.
They could unearth a bargain, ride the train or just indulge in some country hospitality at the Wallangarra Railway Markets, enjoy live entertainment in the garden at the Commercial Boutique Hotel courtesy of talented performers Cameron Bolton or Emma Gianoli, or gather the family around the table at one of the many eateries around town.
