An ongoing spate of break-and-enters and incidences of theft carried out around Tenterfield over the month of August has been nipped in the bud as Tenterfield Police bring the young culprit to justice.
Coordinated police efforts resulted in an arrest on Wednesday, August 22 on Sunnyside Loop Road near the Tenterfield Transfer Station.
The young person was charged with four offences:
- aggravated break and enter in company
- break, enter and steal
- steal motor vehicle
- breach Apprehended Domestic Violence Order
They have pled guilty to all charges and have been refused bail, to await sentencing on October 18.
