Members of the AECG travelled from all over NSW from far as Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong, Central Coast and Coffs Harbour – to name but a few destinations.
Local members of the AECG branch and community also attended the conference, where regional reports and updates were punctuated with school performances.
Tenterfield High School principal Sandra Rosner and Junior AECG president Jara Duroux each gave a presentation at the conference followed by principal Anna Starcevic doing the same for The Sir Henry Parkes Memorial Public School.
Following the speeches, TSHPMPS dance team gave two wonderful performances. The school’s Geoff Swan said this is the first time they have had a dance group at the primary school, thanking Faron Anderson for his accompaniment.
On the Friday night there was a well-attended community dinner at the RSL Pavilion.
