Loads of locals as well as interstate competitors made their way to the annual two-day event and stuck it out for both days in the maiden, encouragement, open for open, junior, juvenile, restricted open and novice events.
Saturday the rain threatened but remained dry for the maiden, restricted open, open for open and encouragement drafts.
Then the heavens opened and the Red Range recreation ground was underwater for Sunday’s novice, juvenile and junior events.
Campdraft secretary Vickie Williamson said despite the second day deluge, it was a hugely successful weekend.
“There was a good turnout of riders for all the events despite the atrocious conditions on Sunday,” she said.
“There was really good, highly-competitive campdrafting and all in all it was a great weekend.”
