While they’re hoping they won’t get to see you over the Christmas period in a professional capacity, staff at Tenterfield Hospital are wishing the Tenterfield community a very merry Christmas and a safe holiday period. They’re assuring everyone that, should anything go awry, they will be on hand to help.
The hospital will continue to provide 24-hour-a-day coverage for emergencies. Call 000 or the Emergency Department (02 6739 5200).
Dr Siribaddana’s surgery the Tenterfield Medical Centre (02 6736 0919) will be open over the holiday period including Christmas Day and Boxing Day to meet any GP concerns.
The administration team, Community Health Service, Occupational Therapist service, mental health service and Physiotherapy service will be closed from Christmas eve, December 24, reopening January 7.
It’s recommended that all scripts and general GP cares are attended to before your local GP closes for the Christmas break.
