Eagan and his family regularly visit his grandparents Carmel and Jim Byrne during school holidays, and these holidays included a trip to the Wallangarra Railway Markets. (Many people will know Carmel from her volunteering at the Tenterfield Visitor Information Centre, and Jim from the Tenterfield Saddler, and lots of other places in between.)
An Eagan-sized guitar at one of the market stalls caught his eye and he made his purchase, and straight away was behind the microphone in performance mode, thanks to some mentoring from resident muso Mario Costanza.
It might be time to get in now for autographs, so you can say ‘you knew him when...’. Eagan certainly has the stage presence.
