Active Kids is still running and contributes $100 for every child towards the cost of sports registration, membership expenses and fees for physical activities such as swimming, dance lessons and athletics.
Creative Kids – announced in last year’s budget – is aimed towards after-school cultural activities. Vouchers can be used for music, dance and drama lessons, language classes or visual arts, coding and design. Parents can register online with Service NSW to receive their $100 voucher, which is then provided to their approved activity provider.
No providers in Tenterfield have yet registered, although Chloe Waugh of Live Dream Dance said she is in the process of registering her business. Tenterfield Drama Group would also seem to fit the bill.
