Although the exhibition originally intended to showcase the photographics efforts of students, time contraints meant that local photographer Peter Reid stepped into the breach.
The result is a gallery of well-known and well-loved faces, with the portrait often composed to tell a story of their interests.
There’s Ken Poulsen collecting spectacles for Lions Recycle for Sight, there’s Jeff Hollands cutting hair, amongst other studies.
Organisers hope the exhibition can become a regular feature of Seniors Week, documenting local seniors and their lives.
On Tuesday it was back to the School of Arts for lunch in the illustrious Banquet Hall with Chris Markham providing musical entertainment.
On Wednesday from 1pm at the Tenterfield Cinema there’s a special showing of Mary Poppins Returns starring Emily Blunt. The screening will be followed by a cuppa and biscuits, and the cost is $5 per person.
Hope you have your tickets for Thursday’s country dance and light lunch at Bolivia Hall.
After all the dancing it’s time to wind down with free Meditation and Pilates in the Park on Friday.
Polly Rubin will be leading the group in meditation practices in Bruxner Park from 9.30am. She will be followed by Rachel Brown providing a pilates session.
