Miss Polly will read stories from her recently published book series Rosie Knows. Rosie, who is a well-known dog in Tenterfield,will be in attendance and happy to "sign" any books that are purchased. There will be a story time and conversation session. Rosie's adventures relate to everyday childhood experiences and are suitable for all school-aged children. Light refreshments and giveaways. This is a free event to be held at the Tenterfield Tourist Information Centre at 10.30am.

BILLY CART MADNESS
The Woodenbong Golf Club Billy-Cart Madness is rolling again on Sunday, April 7 held at Woodenbong Golf Club with a 10am start and is run as a fun event and a fundraiser for the club. Lots of fun and lots of prizes for all ages: Junior - 12 years and under. Senior - 13 years and over. Sections include: fancy dress, novelty race, fastest time senior and junior, slalom senior and junior, relay senior and junior, best presented cart. Other attractions include tug-o-war, car-boot stalls, classic car show, hot and cold food and all day barbecue, cold drinks and coffee. RED CROSS DEEPWATER FUNDRAISER
Red Cross Deepwater branch presents the play I Am My Own Wife, an intriguing production about endurance you can relate to, plus a Deepwater supper. Tickets are $25 and are available at Carelle's and at Deepwater Post Office, and Simply Country, Tenterfield.
