The Tenterfield Chamber of Tourism, Industry and Business is hosting a Q&A for New England's federal election candidates, on Wednesday, April 24 at the Tenterfield School of Arts. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, and entry is free.
Independents Adam Blakester and Rob Taber, Labor's Cindy Duncan, United Australia Party's Yvonne Langenberg and the Greens' Tony Lonergan are participating. No confirmation from the Nationals' Barnaby Joyce.
The Star will be livestreaming the forum, for those who can't attend. Go to the Tenterfield Star Facebook page from 7pm.
Saturday, April 27
DRAKE MARKETS
Drake Markets is held every month (except December) on the last Saturday of the month, running from 9am to around 1pm. The market is held at Woodward Park, beside Bruxner Highway. Cost of a stall is $10, and people can ring the Woodwards on 6737 6664 to book, or ask for information. We regularly have good fruit and veg, goat cheese and soap, the Little Orange Van (LOV) providing good home-cooked food with coffee, second-hand goods, clothes, etc., with other stalls varying on the day.

ROCK N ROLL DANCING
Tenterfield Community College Rock n Roll Dancing with Gordan and Phyllus on Saturdays. Loads of fun dancing for one hour at 2pm $10 per person or $15 per couple. Contact Karen Wells at Tenterfield Community College, phone 6736 0050 or 0437 040 774.
Sundays
REVIVAL PENTECOSTAL CHURCH
The Revival Pentecostal Church will hold services every Sunday at 10am at the Mingoola Hall. Everyone in the community is welcome. There will be African song, and an interpreter for every service. COMMUNITY GARDENS WORKING BEES
TAFE Tenterfield Community Gardens holds working bees on Sundays 9am-12 noon behind Tenterfield TAFE, High Street. Everyone is welcome to join us in producing fresh produce in a friendly and social setting. Contact Granite Borders Landcare for more information on 6736 3500.

MEN'S SHED
