The 2019 Woodenbong 28th Annual Show was held on May 5 and the dignitaries at the official opening were John Norris, Show Society President Stewart Grimmett, Mayor Danielle Mulholland of Kyogle Council, Mayor Peter Petty Tenterfield Shire Council and wife Kate, Ray Reid and Neil Reid.

The Show provided outstanding exhibits, events, show jumping, dog show, children's activities, stalls, and food was available and much socialising took place, with all attracting a huge crowd who appreciated all the hard work done by the Show Committee and on such a sunny day.

In the Pavilion the "Most Outstanding Exhibit - Pavilion - Open" was Shirley Hardcastle with her beautifully made "Snowman Quilt". The Photography Section was well supported with Andrea McIntosh being awarded with "Best in Section" 1st, 2nd and 3rd plus the Encouragement award. In the Primary age group, Clay Shaw 1st and 3rd "Any other Subject Primary Student". Isla Shaw received the Encouragement Prize. Scrapbooking Section was won by Sallyann Scarlett for Single page, 1st for Double page and the Card Section Pam Scarlett 1st and 2nd and 3rd was Christine Reid.

The Championship Dog Show showcased 255 entrants with 'Best in Show': M. Morrow with Boxer: Champion Kedsar Some Kinda Wonderful".
Horse Sports and Novelty Events were held and the "Young Farmers Challenge" was exciting. Many enjoyed the helicopter rides for viewing of the beautiful mountain terrain.
Stewart Grimmett the President of the Woodenbong Show Committee wished to thank all of his Fellow Committee Members and the very willing band of volunteers who contributed to the overall success of the Show.
