The bank said it's committed to driving positive change within its communities, to make a difference locally and for all Australians.
In Tenterfield's case it will be making a difference in the Mens Shed's new shed, helping to fit out the new addition to what can now be described as a 'complex'. The original TAFE shed will be used for woodwork, with the new shed just next door designated for metalwork activities.
The bank's donation will specifically go to equipping the kitchen facilities of the new addition.
Local bank staff voted to support the project.
"We're very excited to have the opportunity to support the Tenterfield Mens Shed," branch manager Debbie Minns said.
"In particular the great work they do for the community, so it's great to be able to give back and support this work."
