It doesn't seem that long since we were last being encouraged to shake those maracas but this year's rendition of the Peter Allen Festival is coming up soon, incorporating lessons learned from the inaugural event and new additions to the program.

All will be revealed at the 2019 festival's official launch on Wednesday, June 26, and interested parties are encouraged to get along to the Tenterfield School of Arts at 5.30pm to be in the loop.

The festival's new website will be revealed, as will marketing plans involving print, television, radio and online.
The new events will also be unveiled to not only engage the locals but to bring in more tourists, literally in one case.
Ticketing options for ticketed events, accommodation and ticket packages and behind-the-scenes organising will all be discussed.
Closure of the CBD for the Peter Allen Boulevarde street party and markets on Saturday, September 7 will impact businesses fronting the affected roads, and representatives from those establishments are encouraged to come along, along with anyone else with an interest in the upcoming event.
The evening is expected to wrap up around 7pm.
