The Tenterfield Bumblebees claimed the points in their away match at Ballina and while coach Phil Jones was relieved to be back in the winner's circle, he was more impressed with the way they fought to win.

"It was a really tough win, a real physical, grinding sort of a game," he said.
"We didn't play as well as we could have but the positive was we really ground it out.
"We defended our line for 30 minutes of the game.
"We defended our line pretty well the whole game so that was a positive; our line defence was unreal.
"We tackled everything that moved and when we did get a bit of field position, we scored."
While it wasn't pretty, Jones believes that sort of win is perfect timing for the side coming into the pointy end of the season.
"You have got to have those tough, hard games leading in to finals," he said.
"You don't want those games where you are getting big scores against opposition because you fall into that mentality that you are going to win every game without the hard work."
The Bees have a bye this weekend before they are back at Federation Park on July 27 for Ladies Day, which will feature a Golden Oldies clash against Grafton.
"We have a bye this weekend, we have a week to get over injuries, we are not training this week just to get over injuries," Jones said.
