Beat of the Bush will return to Tenterfield next year for another winter music school after the great feedback on this year's inaugural event, and the dates have been set.
"We will definitely be back again next year, same place, with concerts beginning on Saturday July 4 and the Winter Music School commencing on Monday, July 6 2020," Cuskelly College of Music's Michael Muller said.
A local committee is gathering around this year's onsite liaison volunteer Kim Rhodes to spread the logistical workload, and grant applications to support the event are already being dispatched. Grants secured for this year's event drastically reduced tuition fees to make them more accessible.
Mrs Rhodes has received confirmation that a group of up to 30 students from Hong Kong are making travel plans to be in Tenterfield for the music school.
"We'll probably be looking for billets," she said of the expected influx of students and their family members for next year's tuition.
The tutors for the next school have been booked, along with local motel rooms to accommodate them over the week.
Those fortunate enough to live in Tenterfield of course have no accommodation worries, and can instead anticipate the prospect of another week packed with concert options of international standard.
Parents may also be wanting to line their children up for the music school itself. They may not be a progeny, but some music appreciation can expand their horizons significantly.
And being part of that final concert performance would be an experience they'd never forget.
