"I don't want the kids to feel left out of a group and feel upset because they don't have hair," Bella said.
"I am nearly nine years old and I have been growing my hair my whole life. I love my long hair but I think that it will be good for my hair to be made into a wig to help other people to not feel left out," Bella said.

"I'll be chopping off a minimum of 36 cm," Bella said.
Her hair cut will be in September.
"I want the children to help the kids and raise $2,000 if that will help them buy a wig," Bella said.
Bella attends Sandon Primary School and the school is supporting her fund raising efforts.
Wigs cost families up to $6000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child's youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
Variety - the Children's Charity is a community of hard working people committed to ensure all Aussie kids get a fair go.
By providing practical equipment, programs and care, Variety helps kids in need overcome the many obstacles they face and join in with everyone else. Hair with Heart is a national hair donation campaign managed by Variety NSW.
