A young orchestra from Byron Bay is donating a special concert tour to the people of Tenterfield.

Called the Lift the Spirits tour, the orchestra will be giving concerts at primary schools, Tenterfield High and Millrace. They will also be presenting a free public concert at the Sir Henry Parkes School of Arts, followed by free supper.

The orchestra is the Ensemble Della Mar and members are mostly primary and secondary music students from the K-12 Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School. Performance is an important part of their studies and Tenterfield is very fortunate to be able to host this special tour.
