The competition was made up of 14 zones from around the state - Sydney South West, Hunter, Sydney East, Sydney North, Polding Catholic Schools, North West, South Coast, Sydney North, Combined Independent Schools, North Coast, Western, Sydney West, Riverina, Sydney South West invitational and Mackillop Catholic Schools.
Kyanne lined up in the North West team, who were in pool two, for their eight matches during the tournament.
With North West being one of the most widespread zones, training could be difficult but the girls, and their parents, made the effort to train on selected weekends throughout the cricket off-season to give themselves the best chance at being successful in the championships.
The team finished second in their pool and fourth overall, the highest a North West side has placed at the the state championships.
Kyanne batted and bowled well throughout the tournament but her best game was against Sydney South West.
With the ball, she bowled two overs, including a maiden, for two wickets and only one run scored against her.
With the bat, she also hit her first four for the carnival.
She also took a wicket in North West's match against Sydney North.
Kyanne said representing her region in the sport was an awesome experience and would recommend other girls getting out and playing cricket.
