We then commenced our AGM and the following office bearers for the coming year were elected:
- President - Steven Thomas,
- Vice-president - Steven Ost,
- Secretary - David Ware, and
- Treasurer - Frances Thomas.
President Steve congratulated the club on an excellent year and thanked everyone for their wonderful support.
At the following ordinary meeting members Ken Poulsen and Frances Thomas were awarded life memberships for many years of dedication and commitment to the club. These will be presented during the Christmas party lunch at the Tenterfield Motor Inn on December 1.
This will be immediately after the meeting commencing there at 10.30am. Members intending to attend please contact Treasurer Frances.
We will again be providing cars for the year 12 formal on November 15.
New members are always welcome but remember your car must be at least 30 years old. Contact President Steve on (02) 6736 2862 for more information.
CAR OF THE MONTH
MAKE: 1987 Honda CRX 1.6 twin cam
OWNER: Steven Ost
HISTORY: This car originally came from Beenleigh in Queensland and Steve has owned it for 18 months.
He spent eight months carrying out minor rust and mechanical repairs and now has it on club plates.
It still has its excellent original paint and has travelled an impressive 360,000 kilometres but still returns five litres per 109km!
