Both sessions had a great turn out of potential players participating.
More than 65 kids have registered to the club to play in the 2019-2020 Junior Competition.
This is absolutely fantastic for a local sporting club.
Tenterfield Junior Touch Football cater for ages from Kindergarten to 13 years of age.
It is a sport for all abilities to enjoy, as players are divided into age appropriate divisions.
They are five-year-olds and six-year-olds; seven-year-olds and eight-year-olds; nine-year-olds and 10-year-olds; and also 11s, 12s and 13 year olds.
This year is the first year that teams will be allocated a team coach to support the team throughout the season, this allows players to opportunity to learn and develop new skills, to the best of their ability when in smaller groups.
This year the club is looking forward to having the following coaches part of Junior Touch Football; Keven Mooney, Keely Mooney, Bonnie Zappa, Megg Landers, Mark Koch, Rylee Cooper and Phoebe Cooper.
It is also great that the Junior Competition will have the support of young referees giving back to the club; Oska Zappa, Harry Logan, Maddison Riley, Bryce Riley, Elly Petrie, Matilda Ebbern, Jack Giddy, Malik Wightman, Jeremiah Nicholls, Michael Nicholls and Fletcher Koch.
Junior Touch Football is hosted on Wednesday Nights at Federation Park from 5:30-6:30pm, each week up until March 2020.

Registration is $45 and includes a team playing shirt, Active Kids Vouchers are also accepted.
Tenterfield Touch Football formed a new committee at the re-scheduled Annual General Meeting.
After not forming one at their first meeting on October 9, the October 26 meeting was a success. Keven Mooney was elected president and treasurer, Brendan Minns vice-president, secretary and publicity officers are Megg Landers and Rylee Cooper with Keely Mooney and Bonnie Zappa the junior coordinators.
