Local Lions and Rotary Clubs together with the Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Support Group will again share hosting duties on a variety of activities to keep everyone amused.
Santa will be arriving on the big red fire engine around 7pm with some goodies to hand out to all the kids, and be ready to take gift requests.
Live Dream Dance studio will be putting on free performances, and the Stanthorpe Community Band will have everyone carolling along.
There's a chance to be taking home a wheelbarrow full of groceries to set you up for Christmas feasting, with the raffle draw on the night.
No-one will go hungry with lots of food options and the barbecue operating.
The carnival seems to attract a bigger crowd each year and, as always, all proceeds go towards keeping the rescue helicopter flying.
