Round seven on November 27 saw Liquor Legends play XI Ducks.
Liquor Legends won the toss and elected to bat first.
They had a strong start with openers Geoff Swan and Brendan Blaker posting a partnership of 39 before Blaker was stumped on 26.
Tim Andrews stepped up with a quick-fire 31 before he departed.
Swan was caught on 28 and Liquor Legends lost a further four wickets to finish their innings at 7-146.
For the Ducks' bowlers, Will Sheather managed 2-13, Dylan Thrift 1-10, Damien Lyons 1-15 and Ben Austin 2-26.
In their run chase, Jayson Murphy top-scored with an unbeaten 34 not out as the Ducks managed to snare the required runs in 16.1 overs.
Geoff Swan claimed and impressive 4-1 and a maiden over.
The second match of the round on the Thursday saw the KLAS Bouncers topple Tavern.
Batting first, the Bouncers made 8-155 from their 20 overs with Adam Genninges top-scoring with 44.
With the ball, Tavern's Lindsay Lockwood finished with 2-9, Josh King 1-5, Tom Fowler 2-13, Shaun Merchant 1-3 and Dave Fowler 1-18.
Tavern struggled to chase down the Bouncers' total and finished the 20 overs with 5-131.
Round eight began last Wednesday with Tavern up against the Bonshaw Billy Goats.
Tavern won the toss and batted first and were under fire early.
They managed to make 110 before being all out.
With the ball, Billy Goats' Adrian Ebbern finished with 3-15, Will Ramsay 2-16, Matt Cater 2-13, Tim Ramsay 1-26 and Geoff Fearby 1-2.
In their run chase, the Billy Goats struggled early with three out of their four opening batsmen dismissed for ducks.
At 3-3, things were dire until Ebbern came in at number five to put 24 runs on the board.
Down the order, Ed Hickson piled on 35 with five fours and a six and was supported by Mark Palfreyman who notched up 28 not out.
The Billy Goats managed to secure the win in 12.5 overs with seven wickets down.
Wicket-takers for Tavern were Shaun Merchant with 4-4, Daniel Towns 1-10, Tom Fowler with 1-17 and Joe Brown with 1-20.
The second match on Thursday saw KLAS Bouncers bowled out by XI Ducks for 73 in 13 overs.
The Ducks only lost three wickets in the run chase as they managed to get the 74 required runs in 14 overs for the win.
