A man has been charged with firing a gun to intimidate a neighbor on a property near Tenterfield.

Two men hunting feral pigs on the Mingoola property on Thursday January 2 at about 9.30pm when they heard a man yelling and firing a weapon, police allege.
Police investigated the alleged incident and arrested a 60 year old man, who has been charged with stalking or intimidating, going armed with intent and firearms offences.
They also raided a property allegedly and recovered a firearm and ammunition.
The man was refused bail to appear before the Armidale Local Court on February 3.
HOTEL BREAK-IN
Police are investigating an alleged break in at a Tenterfield hotel.
An intruder or intruders gained entry to a pub on High Street in the early hours of January 5, police allege.
They stole money and bottles of alcohol from the main before, police say. The alleged crime was later discovered by staff.
Forensic police have investigated the scene for evidence.
