There's lots to look forward to when the 2020 Seniors Festival rolls out next month, with tickets going on sale Tuesday, February 4 in the council foyer.

The festival, which officially runs across NSW from February 12-23, aims to provide opportunities for people over 60 to remain active, healthy and engaged in their local communities. Some of the local activities, however, may motivate those who don't meet the criteria to up their age.
Here in Tenterfield Seniors Festival runs from Monday, February 17 to Friday, February 21, with something on offer each day.
The official opening of the Art of Ageing Exhibition kicks off the week, in the foyer of the Tenterfield School of Arts. The exhibition features photographic portraits of local seniors, celebrating our difference, our experience and our uniqueness keeping in mind this year's theme Love to celebrate.
Come along between 10am and noon to check out the exhibition, and to enjoy a Devonshire tea provided by the CWA. This is a free event.
It's back to the School of Arts on Tuesday, February 18 for a lunch and musical experience in the Banquet Hall.
The Courtyard Cafe is catering lunch will be alternate-drop main and desert while diners listen to some delightful music. Cost is $15 per person.
The newly-released movie Little Women looks great in the trailers, and seniors can enjoy a special screening at 1pm on Wednesday, February 19 at the Tenterfield Cinema, for just $5.
There's more eating and entertainment on Thursday, February 20 with another instalment of a country dance, music and light lunch at Bolivia Hall after everyone had a good time last year.
A bus will run participants out from the Visitor Information Centre to the Hall, 20 minutes south of Tenterfield, leaving at 11am and returning around 3pm. The $25 per person ticket includes transport, lunch and entertainment.
It's back on the bus on Friday, February 21, but who knows to where? All we know about the Mystery Bus Tour is that it includes morning tea and then a lovely lunch at a second location, and will take in a leisurely scenic drive.
The bus leaves the Tenterfield Visitor Information Centre at 9am, returning around 3pm. It's a great day out with friends and some delightful food and venues. The cost is $30 per senior and includes bus transport, morning tea and lunch.
Secure your place at ticketed events when tickets go on sale from 10am to noon each day on Tuesday, February 4 continuing on Wednesday and Thursday, and again the following week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (February 11,12 and 13). Bring cash, as there's no EFTPOS facility.
