Representatives from council's water and waste department will give an update on Tenterfield's water situation - the water quality, the conditions, why we were in our precarious situation late last year, and council's future plans.
"There's been a fair bit of negative media going around about our water situation," Ms Reid said. "The representatives will give the real update, because a lot of the information circling wasn't quite accurate."
The breakfast will also introduce Kelly Foran, Community Innovation Officer for the Primary Health Network, and Jodie Magner, Recovery Support Officer with Northern NSW DPI.
Ms Foran and Ms Magner will speak about their roles and how they can help the community and businesses.
The Business Breakfast will be held at the Tenterfield Golf Club on Wednesday, January 22, from 6.45 to 8.30am. Cooked breakfast: $15. Book tickets: www.trybooking.com/BHSSO or RSVP to Caitlin Reid - 0459 148 745 or c.reid@tenterfield.nsw.gov.au. The event is open to the wider community, but targeted at businesses.
