Stephanie Kennedy will hand over the role to her successor, who will be announced on Friday, February 7, at 6pm.
Stephanie thanks the Tenterfield Show Society, her family, bosses Glen and Lisa Curry, and the community of Tenterfield for supporting her over the past 12 months.
"What an experience it has been!" she said. "I've stepped outside my comfort zone; I've attended many events locally and statewide."

Stephanie was a committed and dedicated member of the Entertainment and Showgirl Committees for the 2020 Show. She attended the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW Next Generation ShowSkill Seminar and the PolishWorks Workshop, coming back full of ideas to help the Show Society and herself to grow.
"I wouldn't have had those opportunities if I hadn't been showgirl," Stephanie said. "I took that daunting step and had a go at something I wouldn't have seen myself doing."
Stephanie will travel to the Zone 4 finals in Dorrigo on Saturday. Unfortunately, she will miss this year's show, but looks forward to representing our town, and speaking of our resilience tolerating the drought and the fires.
"I hope I can come home from Dorrigo with some exciting news for the town of Tenterfield, and that everyone has a wonderful weekend at the 2020 Tenterfield Show," Stephanie said.
The Tenterfield Show Society is extremely proud of Stephanie's efforts, member and former showgirl Keely Mooney said.
"In Stephanie's 12 months as Miss Tenterfield Showgirl, she has gone above and beyond for her community. She has risen above many challenges, and taken on each and every opportunity that interested her."
Stephanie has helped to prepare the community event featuring the 2020 showgirls, which will be held on Saturday, February 1, at the Best Western Henry Parkes Restaurant from 6pm. Local singer Jess Lockwood will perform.
The Tenterfield Show Society would like to see as many community members attend this event that honours Stephanie Kennedy's achievements and showcases the 2020 Senior Showgirl entrants.
Entry by pre-purchase ticket only; $35 (adult) and $17.50 (child). They are available from Sherelle Fashions, the Corner Life and Style Store, Simply Country, or by calling Keely Mooney on 0400 656 926. Sales close January 27.
