School thrives on cultural exchange

"Together as one" is the catchphrase often used by St Peters Lutheran College boarders, a description that embodies the attitude within the college's four boarding houses.

For the past 75 years, St Peters has acted as a home-away-from-home to rural, regional, inter-state and international students.

Today, close to 150 students form the tight-knit St Peters boarding family; a multicultural community that thrives on cultural exchange.

St Peters boarding is the only co-educational boarding school in the Brisbane municipal area. From year 6, girls and boys are welcomed to take up residence on the college's 21 hectares.

St Peters' location is ideal for boarders new to the area; it allows students the space they need for focused learning during the week, yet they can access a true sense of "city living" when they explore further afield on the weekends.

Within girls' and boys' boarding, students have access to common rooms with kitchen and media equipment, outdoor activity spaces, networked Wi-Fi and secure dormitory "cubes" (two to a room for junior-level students and a "cube" each for seniors).

Countless activities and initiatives are held throughout the year to encourage family-like bonds between boarders.
