Often referred to as a "home away from home", SCOTS PGC staff prefer to think of boarding as an extension of family.

Staff pride themselves on providing an environment that reflects and cultivates the values its families hold.

Residential staff may be educators and they're often also parents. These dual perspectives enable the team to deliver exceptional educational experiences, and the nurturing care young people need to succeed.

When it comes to boarding, the school's ultimate goal is to create an environment built on empathy, care and understanding. The heads of boarding and dedicated on-site residential staff work together to foster a sense of spirit and unity, facilitating both structured and informal opportunities for boarders to connect.

Boarding students are welcomed to the SCOTS PGC family from as young as year 5. All students enjoy modern, well-appointed boarding facilities and are served delicious and nutritious meals from the in-house chef and catering team.

SCOTS PGC offers more than 25 co-curricular activities and encourages students to participate in as many as possible.

Boarders also enjoy a variety of organised events and excursions, from camping and socials, to restaurant nights and art days through to watching a game of rugby at Suncorp or a trip to a Gold Coast theme park.
