Unfortunately the good falls weren't enjoyed in the far northeast where drought conditions persist.
Drizzly rain is expected to continue until Wednesday, with Monday's strong winds also set to ease by mid-week.
While the predicted maximums are well down (just 10 degrees on Monday and 12 degrees on Tuesday), at least the conditions are keeping the minimums above freezing which is fine if you can find a spot out of the wind.
