Facing RSL, the Tenterfield team suffered a four wicket loss.
Batting first, Tenterfield finished all out for 79, Neil Savins top-scoring with 29 before being caught and bowled while Tom Fowler was next best with 19.
RSL put 37 runs on the board before Tenterfield snared a wicket, Luke Mayne bowling their opener.
Brody Parker then claimed a spectacular caught and bowled before Mayne chimed in for another for RSL to be 3-38.
Parker then snagged another wicket in the same fashion as his first.
Mayne had his third wicket with another bowled effort.
Daniel Leeson added a moment to the highlights reel with a catch at first slip off Mayne's bowling.
However, RSL managed to chase the runs down with four wickets in hand.
Tenterfield's next game will be on January 16 against Valleys at Shirley Park.
