With projections of the rain continuing under a La Nina effect and Tenterfield Shire Council water restrictions back to Level 1, there's incentive for green thumbs to get dirty again.
Local gardens took a battering during the drought, with some even ravaged by bushfire. It's great to see lots of green around the place now, although lawnmowers provide a constant background hum in town as homeowners compete with rapidly-growing grass.
