It's back to normal this year for ANZAC Day commemorations in Tenterfield, after last year's events were cancelled due to COVID-19.
April 25 events were a subdued affair worldwide last year as the pandemic took hold and large gatherings were to be avoided at all cost.
Pending another outbreak of the virus ANZAC Day in Tenterfield this year will be similar to what we're accustomed, a highlight being the parade through the CBD.
The Sunday will start with the Dawn Service at 5.30am at Tentefield Memorial Hall and Tenterfield Cemetery, followed by the Gun Fire Breakfast back at the hall from 6.30am.
Parade participants are asked to gather at council's southern carpark (near Telegraph Hotel) at 10am for the parade down Rouse St to the hall starting 10.30am.
The Commemoration Service at the hall then proceeds from 11am to noon.
The ANZAC Day Luncheon is by prior booking only. Contact Darryl Offer on 0428 453 820 by April 20.
From 1.30pm there's Two Up at the Tenterfield Tavern.
