Ms Gianoli secured a grant through Tenterfield Lions Club to establish Tenterfield Junior Choir, with free activities each Monday afternoon from 4.30-6pm in Tenterfield High School's MPU (Multi Purpose Unit).
The classes are for children from kindergarten to Year 6, and Ms Gianoli is visiting local primary schools this week to drum up support.

She said the classes will be comprised of lots of singing, body percussion and more.
"I've spend my whole life immersed in music and I want to give back to the community," she said.
"I see a real need in the community to inject some of the creative arts, especially in a rural area."
Appreciating that other extracurricular activities put pressure on household budgets, she also sees the need to keep the classes free to make them as accessible as possible.
She's be keeping an eye out for opportunities for the choir to perform in the community, but clearly in focus at this stage is the upcoming Tenterfield Eisteddfod.
It all starts this Monday, May 3. A Tenterfield Junior Choir Facebook page has been created and families can message through there or by emailing emmagianoli@gmail.com to get a registration form. The forms will also be available at the door but pre-registration is preferred to get an idea of numbers.
Ms Gianoli said if a child is nervous their parent is welcome to stay, otherwise the class will end at 6pm. All participants need to bring is a bottle of water and their singing voice.
