Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions this week on the New England Highway at Bolivia Hill to carry out vegetation management work.

From Monday May 10 the highway will be closed multiple times for up to 20 minutes at a time for the safety of motorists and workers to clear vegetation identified as a risk of falling onto the roadway.

Work will be carried out from 6am to 5pm and is expected to be complete by 5pm this Friday, May 14, weather permitting.
The highway will be open at all other times with existing single lane, alternating flow arrangements and speed restrictions in place.
No alternative routes are available and motorists are advised to plan their journeys, allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
