High seller was Lot 3 AJC Q487, a 22 month bull weighing 842kg with Angus Breeding Index of $183 positive calving ease with 2, 4 & 600 day evaluation estimates at 66, 120 & 171 for growth and +2.9 IMF. The bull is heading for breeding duties at JA & JA Waters "Glendowe" Armidale.
GA & KA Baker "Mosgiel" Ben Lomond purchased four sires to $17,000 with a view to heifer joinings selecting a standout son of AJC M95 2.2 birth through to +122 for 600 day and EMA 7.4 and IMF 4.4.
Longstanding client AL Cunich Pty Ltd selected a powerful son of AJC K138 weighing 830kg at 21 months, +155 for 600 days, 7.3 EMA and 4.2 IMF, paying $16,000 then followed a $14,000 purchase with similar breeding values +154, 600 days, 8.7 EMA and 4.2 IMF.

Volume buyers were Titibar Pastoral Co Pty Ltd Deepwater for their extensive breeding herd, procuring six bulls to average $7,833, topping at $9,000.
Ben Vale Pastoral Pty Ltd Emmaville purchased three bulls to a top of $16,000 for Lot 5 Q500 a well balanced son of AJC K102 with an Angus selection index of $164 for Angus breeding and $190 for heavy grain indexes.
Repeat buyers RM & PL Wright "Trefusis" Walcha selected AJC Q121 at $15,000 with low birth credentials then backed up with two rising three year old bulls at $14,000. A first time offering at Speriby North the 3 year old bulls were used in the herd as 2 year olds met spirited competition averaging $10,454 for the 11 bulls sold. Wilmot Cattle Co "Woodburn" Walcha purchased three bulls paying to $13,000.
SA & FH Thompson "Harewood" Dalveen secured two $14,000 sires also securing two bulls were Applebutt Partnership Tenterfield and Wycliffe Partnership Emmaville all repeat buyers.
The Cox Family thanked buyers and underbidders for supporting their 23rd on property sale. The current strength of the cattle market and some outstanding achievements endorses their longstanding breeding programme.
