After a very cold and frosty morning start we had a very well attended meeting in the Sunnyside Hall and we're later able to drive in perfect conditions on our run to Drake.

All the club records and memorabilia have now been transferred to our new home at Sunnyside Hall.
Events organiser John Macnish reported on future outings in months to come: July, steam train ride Stanthorpe to Wallangarra; August, to Glen Innes museum; and September, to Glenlyon Dam.
More details to come, members are reminded to prepare for these outings.
Please remember also that we have a regular morning tea meeting each Thursday at 10am at the Courtyard Cafe for anyone interested and the next ladies luncheon will be in July.
Our next meeting will be on July 4. New members are always welcome but remember your car must be 30+ years old.

Car of the month
Model: 1979 Mercedes Benz 280E
Owner: Colleen and Rod Taylor
History: This car was originally purchased by a Mr EH Pinkerton from Mt Keira in Sydney on July 31 1979.
Colleen and Rod bought the car from Lloyd Winton in Deepwater 25 years ago.
It has now covered 380,000 kilometres.
It is very original and has only required regular maintenance during its life of 42 years.
