
On December 6 anglers are invited to cast a line into Tenterfield Dam for the annual Gone Fishing Day event.
The fun-packed day is family friendly and all about celebrating Aussies' love of fishing and a chance to try something new if you haven't before.

In the lead up to the event, NSW DPI Fisheries will join OzFish and release 250 juvenile trout on December 3 into the dam.
The community is encouraged to go along. There will be giveaways, competitions and loads of fun for the whole family.
Gone Fishing Day is a COVID safe event where guests are required to check in and out using the provided QR code.Codes for sign-in will be at the entrance of the park.
As per service NSW guidelines, at this stage only double vaccinated people can attend and that must be checked at the time of admission.
