The Tenterfield Showgrounds' barbecue shed is receiving a well-earned facelift.
Kerry Dabey and her team of volunteers have worked tirelessly before, during and after the show to meet the NSW Food Act guidelines.

But the 2022 event will be just a little bit easier thanks to a $5000 grant received from the FRRR/Nutrien Ag Solutions grant program this year.
The management of Thomas Rural in Tenterfield fully supported the project for the revamp and helped get the project started.
The Tenterfield Land Managers are also supporting the project along with the Tenterfield Show Society to get the works program completed prior to the February 5, 2022 show.
The provision of cement at the front and back of the kiosk by local contractor Murray and the team from New England Developments plus commercial flooring, cupboard doors, lined walls, larger washing up area and an exhaust canopy should make things much easier for all the volunteers whom help out every year in the barbecue shed.
With all the fixture changes must come an electrical rewire so Ray Holder from Holders Electrical has been onsite completing that job, along with a team of Tenterfield Show Society volunteers whom have helped empty out and clean the shed ready for the tradies and volunteers to get the job completed in time for the 2022 show.
