Brisbane natives trying to escape the G20 upheaval and tourists in town for the Stanthorpe Rocks concert joined locals for the day of festivity.
Marianne Saxby from Ten FM said organisers were pleased with the turn out despite numbers being slightly down on last November’s event.
“I think the heat kept some away – the stallholders were happy though,” she said.
Ms Saxby said it was great to see people get down to the Memorial Hall to see local arts, crafts and produce on display.
She said there would have been around 60 stalls on the day.
Sherelle’s Fashion kept passers-through entertained with a showing of their latest garments while local muso Peter Harris performed.
Ten FM are now looking ahead to next year as they plan an Easter/Autumn market.
