Our youngest performers got a grasp of their nerves and recited bush poetry in front of a panel of judges and a large audience during Oracles’ Children Concert at Tenterfield Memorial Hall on Friday, April 6.
Drake Public School again put on a strong showing in the performing, written and art sections, with The Sir Henry Parkes Memorial Public School and St Joseph’s Primary School also participating on the day.
Entries in the written section came from as far as Western Australia.
Prizewinners present at the event were presented with their winnings by 2018 Oracles of the Bush legend George Mulherin.
