“We just couldn’t seem to convert pressure into points again. We have just forgotten how to score tries,” coach Phil Jones said.
“We are matching them everywhere else and probably dominating in the forwards but we just can’t seem to cross the line, just making mistakes at that last play where you should be scoring.
“It is not disastrous but we just haven’t really clicked. I don’t think it is far off, the ship hasn’t sunk, we have to work on a few things and get a bit of that try-scoring confidence back.
“We started off the season going pretty well but this last round we haven’t clicked in any of the games.
“We are doing everything right except converting pressure into points.”
The Far North Coast competition takes a break this weekend before the Bees return on July 7 at home against Evans River.
