The early mark for Seniors Week in February this year meant there wasn't time for schools to organise their popular Grandparents Day, but they went ahead last week with great success.

First off the rank was Tenterfield High School, treating seniors to Bingo followed by a barbecue lunch.

St Joseph's Primary School followed with a concert of performances from each stage, followed by morning tea and classroom visits.
The Sir Henry Parkes Memorial Public School also invited grandparents into classrooms to see what their youngsters had been up to, before entertaining them with a concert and another morning tea.
As always it was popular with grans, nans, pops, pas and kids alike.
