The Bees faced the Kyogle Cockies for their round five fixture on Saturday and emerged victorious 26-12.
Bees' coach Phil Jones was pleased the work they have been putting in at training paid off.
"It was a really good effort right across the board," he said.
"Everyone played really well.
"The forwards, the scrums were really strong again.
"We won a couple of tight heads, the line outs are improving.
"Our breakdown play, getting into rucks and mauls is just improving each week.
"We are not turning much ball over which is really good."
While Jones was happy with the Bees' efforts, he believes his team could have extended their winning margin further.
"We bombed a few tries, we probably could have been 20 points further in front, that was just pushing that last pass a little bit," he said.
"We just need to concentrate on cutting down our errors and I think we will probably score plenty of points."
The Bees have been battling injuries and Jones was forced to shuffle the side around.
He shifted Matt Krahe from inside centre into the halves and applauded his efforts, and was also impressed with the performances from Ben Sharpe, Jayson Murphy and Grant Townes.
"All the backs played really well, we are still dealing with injuries and I had a couple out,"
"Jason Maunder and Adam Clothier are still out so I had to fill those two crucial spots but the guys that filled in on the edge did a great job."
The Bees are back on the road again for the next two weeks, starting this Saturday with Grafton.
"They are a bit of an unknown quantity, we have never played them before," Jones said.
"We will prepare well for that, stick with our structures and hopefully get on top.
"We have got two away games, back on the road for a couple of weeks.
"These injuries in key spots is hard because I haven't had my strongest team on the paddock yet.
"The teams that we are fielding have done really well."
