Wickets began to tumble for Liquor Legends and they were bowled out for 75.
XI Ducks bowlers shared the wickets with Dan Leeson and Todd Hayne bagging two each while Sheather, Dylan Turner and Damien Lyons finished with one.
The XI Ducks didn't take long to chase down the required runs, though they were dealt a blow early with Ben Austin dismissed on six but Pat Kearney and Mitch Austin formed a partnership.
Kearney blasted 29 not out with five fours while Austin hit three fours and three sixes on his way to 34.
Dylan Horn managed six not out as the XI Ducks chased down the total in 6.1 overs.
Thursday
The second match of the round saw the KLAS Bouncers take on Tavern.
The KLAS Bouncers won the toss and chose to bat first up.
It didn't take long for Tavern to snare their first wicket with Dave Fowler bowling Matt Savins for two.
The Bouncers found their feet until Tyler Sargeant was caught off Hedley Donges bowling for 11.
Pat Skinner and Adam Genninges got things going and took their side to triple figures before Skinner was dismissed on 43 via Daniel Townes' bowling and Genninges retired on 51 with five fours and two sixes.
The Bouncers reach 3-164 with Brad and Michael Parker remaining at the crease on 10 not out and 21 not out respectively.
Tavern's innings with the bat started disastrously.
Mark Hurtz was caught off Savins' bowling for a duck and then Dave Fowler followed for the same result off Glenn Caisley's bowling.
Anthony Coup was the third batsman to depart for a duck when Patrick Skinner claimed his scalp.
Daniel Townes managed two boundaries before his stand came to an end when he was caught off Neil Savins' bowling.
Joe Brown followed suit shortly after with Michael Parker doing the damage.
However, Shaun Merchant provided some resistance with the bat, smashing 66 runs from 46 deliveries.
Genninges then snared two wickets for the Bouncers and Daniel Potter chimed in with one as their side prevented the remaining Tavern batsmen from chasing down their total.
Tavern finished 9-148 at the end of their 20 overs.
The round three matches will see the Bonshaw Billy Goats play Tavern on Wednesday followed by a clash between the Bouncers and XI Ducks on Thursday.
