A 130-metre-long cargo ship has run aground on a sandbank near the Swedish island of Sando due to engine problems, according to the Swedish Coast Guard.

The ship's bow was on the sandbank and the fact that its oil tanks were located on the stern reduced the risk of oil spilling, the coast guard said.
The ship had lost power and with it the capacity to manoeuvre.
Several authorities are now working to free the ship again as quickly and safely as possible.
The vessel is the Dutch cargo ship Koningsborg, bound for Casablanca in Morocco and carrying timber, broadcaster SVT reported.
No one was injured in the incident that occurred about 400km north of Stockholm, according to the report.
It was not initially clear whether the ship was damaged.
