Ipswich Town have edged a seven-goal thriller against bottom side Rotherham to keep alive their hopes of automatic promotion to the Premier League.

With Socceroo Cam Burgess playing the full 90 minutes in the heart of defence, and Massimo Luongo coming off the bench midway through the second half, Ipswich threw away a 3-1 lead before Omari Hutchinson's stoppage-time winner clinched a breathless encounter.
The win lifted Ipswich above Southampton - who suffered their first home defeat since mid-September with a 2-1 loss to Hull - to third in the Championship table, behind second-placed Leeds on goal difference.
The top two gain automatic promotion to the Premier League, while the next four teams enter the play-offs - culminating in the 'richest game in football', a one-off Wembley clash to determine the third promoted side.
Tom Eaves fired the struggling visitors in front within two minutes at Portman Road, but Ipswich quickly equalised through Wes Burns and looked on course for a comfortable win thanks to further goals from Kieffer Moore and Burns again.
Hakeem Odoffin pulled one back on the hour mark and Rotherham equalised in brilliant style in stoppage time courtesy of a 'panenka' penalty from Cafu - only for Hutchinson to fire home the winner seconds later.
"It was a bit of a wild game," Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna said.
"It wasn't a good start, and from that moment we never really regained our composure in the game.
"Having said that, we have scored four goals at home (and) we found a way to win the game.
"Every game in the Championship is tough. I knew it was going to be a tough game.
"The players have found a way to come out on top again and credit to them for that."
Joe Aribo scored late for Southampton but the hosts were unable to find a way back into the game after first-half goals from visitors Hull, who moved back into the play-off spots.
West Brom remain a point above Hull following a 3-0 win at Plymouth, Cedric Kipre breaking the deadlock from close range in the 61st minute following a lacklustre first half.
Mikey Johnston doubled his side's lead with a superb curling strike before Tom Fellows completed the scoring in stoppage time.
Cardiff and Blackburn played out a 0-0 draw.
