Will Holley and Braith Clark were part of the Northern New England team at the PSSA North West touch football trials held in Armidale. The Northern New England team, made up of Tenterfield and Glen Innes players, were noted by selectors as being the standout team on the day defeating Inverell, Armidale, Tamworth and Coonabarabran regions.
Five boys from the Northern New England team were selected for the North West team to play in the state carnival on July 26 to 28. Ryan Macintyre, Kaleb Hope and Harlon McLaren from Glen Innes Public School were selected along with Will and Braith.
