It all happened this year on Wednesday, April 11 when apparently all roads led to the school. Once the children took to the stage at the school hall the attraction was readily apparent, with great performances that reflected the many hours of preparation that had gone into them.
Mrs Yates wisely got waves to grandparents out of the way to allow the children to concentrate on their presentations, and what a treat they were.
Mrs Yates noted the growth in the students’ performances over the years as they progress from the kindergarten presentation which is all above movements (including some unique moves not often seen on the dance floor) to sophisticated renditions of popular songs (accompanied by ukuleles, no less) of the Stage 3 classes.

Following an abundant morning tea and a special African blessing bestowed on the assembled friends and relatives by the assembled school body, students then found their special other(s) and gave them a tour of their classroom and showed off some of their work.
It was difficult to gauge who was more proud: the child demonstrating what they do at ‘big school’ or the grownups seeing the skills their little ones are acquiring.
Congratulations to all the teachers and staff for preparing a wonderful experience for students and grandparents alike, until it all happens again next year when we are all a year older.
